The 53rd Richmond Hill Winter Carnival goes Virtual for 2021

The Richmond Hill Winter Carnival is one of the longest standing annual traditions in our community. Started about 53 years ago, each year at this time Richmond Hill comes together to celebrate winter as a community. It is my favourite part of winter in Richmond Hill. This year, despite the pandemic, our volunteer Winter Carnival Committee remains committed to keeping this tradition alive and we have all been working hard to put together a Virtual version of this great event.

Celebrate winter with us as always, “together but apart”, in our first ever Virtual Richmond Hill Winter Carnival. We have contests and fun activities for the whole family to enjoy and we even have a limited edition button available for those, like me, that are collectors. All this from the comfort of your home and backyard. Make sure to check the website now and as we get closer to Winter Carnival weekend February 6 and 7th . All the activities and contests can be completed and Winter Carnival buttons can be ordered while adhering to all the Public Health regulations. We can have fun and do our part to stop the spread of COVID-19 at the same time!

Also on the website is a chance to sign up for the Winter Carnival newsletter and a chance to win coffee for a year from one of our awesome sponsors, Tim Hortons (a $750 value).

Visit the website for all the details. The website – wintercarnival.net is the “place” for winter fun this year and I hope you can participate!
