Friends and Supporters,
I want to thank all of you for your support and for returning me as your Ward 4 Councillor. Your words of encouragement, your input, feedback, and your other actions of support have made this campaign a great experience.
I also want to sincerely thank all of you who took the time to vote in the recent municipal election. One of my key objectives going into this campaign was to encourage community involvement at the municipal level and, while we still have a ways to go, the voter turnout did improve and this is a positive trend which I hope we can continue to build on.
I also want to thank all of you who took the time to talk to me as we criss-crossed Ward 4 through the summer and fall. Meeting so many of you, and hearing about both the things you love about Richmond Hill, and the issues that concern you, has been critical in helping me to prioritize the actions that I will be focused on over the next four years. I promise to always seek out a broad range of points of view from across the Ward and to do my best to support those Town and Regional activities that bring value to the residents of Ward 4.
Thanks again for your support and I look forward to working with the Town Council and staff to deliver on the promises we have made. Just as importantly, I look forward to working with all of you to continue to build the best possible community to live and work in!
