Residents’ Meeting and Council Public Meeting
107 Hall Street Development Application
On Tuesday, October 27th from 7-9PM I will be hosting a Residents’ Meeting regarding an application for development at 107 Hall St. This meeting will be held at the Elgin West Community Centre in the A.J. Clark Interpretive Room. The applicant is proposing a development containing 22 townhouses while retaining the historic house (the Langstaff House) which presently exists on the property. Area residents are invited to this meeting to hear from the applicant, ask any questions, and communicate any concerns that they may have with this proposal to myself, the applicant and to our Town Planning staff.
November 4th at 7:30 (New date November 18th 7:30) there will also be a more formal legislated Council Public Meeting in the Council Chambers at 225 East Beaver Creek. Residents are also invited to this meeting, where all of council will be in attendance. Residents and council will have an opportunity to learn about the details of this application, and make their views known to the entire council. I would encourage anyone interested in this application to attend these meetings and/or send me their views at [email protected]. All input collected will be considered as this application moves through the process so it is important for all of us to let our views be known.
