October is such a spectacular month – as if summer was not beautiful enough, fall is a time where mother nature really kicks it up a notch. Fall reminds me of the exciting conclusion to the fireworks show! October is also a time for Thanksgiving and an opportunity to reflect on the beauty that is around us. It is an opportunity to be be thankful for family, our blessings, and the peace and freedom that we enjoy in Canada.
As a special bonus this October, we are also being treated to an exciting round of Major League baseball by a very talented and classy Toronto Blue Jays team. Go Jays Go! I know in the West household Blue Jays fever is at an all-time high.
In this newsletter I have included information and meeting dates for three larger development applications that are in process in Ward 4, as well as a number of Council highlights that I think residents will find useful. I have also included some upcoming events at our Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts, help with fall cleaning of your yard and home, as well as some information about living in harmony with wild animals in our town and finally a great new guide for new businesses in Richmond Hill.
I hope you find the information contained in this newsletter useful and I hope that you will feel free to contact me at any time if you have questions, kudos or concerns.
