City of Richmond Hill “Mayor for a Day” 2026

Do you have ideas to make Richmond Hill an even better place to live?

Are you interested in being Mayor for a day?
Mayor David West invites students in grades 5-8 who live in Richmond Hill to join him and experience a Day in the Life of the Mayor of the City of Richmond Hill.
The winner of the Mayor for a Day contest will get a behind-the-scenes look at how municipal government functions. They will have the opportunity to
  • attend meetings,
  • tour Richmond Hill City Hall,
