I was honoured to celebrate at the Consulate General of Israel in Toronto with Deputy Consul General Shani Azulia and members of the Jewish community, as well as local MP Laura Smith, York Region Mayors and Councillors.
Together we recognized Israel’s 77th Yom Ha’atzmaut, recognizing this important Independence Day Anniversary of the State of Israel.
In Richmond Hill our community is strengthened by the diversity we are fortunate to have. Especially in this Heritage Month, let’s take the time to honour and celebrate the heritage of our Jewish friends and neighbours.
